In theory, the spindle assembly should decompose and transmit power and motion to each interface as much as possible without loss. To this end, the mid-bridge spindle assembly should have such performance: 1. Passively transmit power and motion. That is, the transmission of the main driven cylindrical gear pair and the planetary gear train should work in a smooth and unblocked state. 2. The clutch of the differential lock clutch should be free.

1 Spindle assembly

Figure 1 is a structural diagram of the main shaft assembly of the heavy-duty vehicle SC2030. As can be seen from the figure, the spindle assembly is composed of a main shaft 1, a differential lock clutch 2, a thrust washer 3, a combined gear 4, a left differential case 5, a cross shaft 6, a planetary gear 7, and a right differential case 8. It consists of a push-on gasket 9, a through-shaft gear 10 and so on. In the spindle assembly, the main shaft is the assembly base member, and the planetary gear train is a differential function member and is also a key component of the assembly. As can be seen from Fig. 1, the spindle assembly has two motion units: the main driven gear pair, that is, the combined gear 4 and its partner gear 17, is a moving unit, and the planetary gear train is another moving unit. From the design concept, the transmission of the gear pair should be smooth and efficient; the operation of the planetary gear train should be sensitive and unblocked (the frictional resistance between the transmission parts and between the moving parts and the stationary parts should be as small as possible). The following is a summary of the key items of several major parts and a brief description of the corresponding test methods.

2 Cross-axis project analysis and detection methods

The cross shaft (theoretically called the tie rod) is the basic part of the planetary gear train. The four planetary gears are respectively mounted on the shaft shaft diameter of Φ27s6 (+0.048 +0.035), if the X-axis and Y-axis of the cross shaft The verticality is out of tolerance or the axes A and B of the X and Y directions, or the coaxiality of C and D are out of tolerance, or the X-axis and the Y-axis are not in the same plane, that is, they are not coplanar, and assembled. The operation of the planetary gear train will be stuck, and the non-uniform turnover will be accelerated and sometimes slowed down, which will result in the transmission and decomposition of power and motion in a fluctuating state, so that the differential can not work normally. Therefore, the perpendicularity, concentricity and coplanarity of the cross shaft are the key items of the part.
