Recently, the major scientific and technological research project in Henan Province undertaken by the Sinosteel Luoyang Refractory Research Institute has achieved breakthroughs in the development and industrialization of functional refractories for aluminum smelting and refining systems. The first is to establish a perfect cryolite corrosion resistance test device and erosion test method for silicon carbide materials. The test method is used to optimize the composition and microstructure of the material, and to produce a high physical and chemical performance and use performance to meet the requirements of the key indicators.
