7. Property of raw material:NR,NBR,CR,SBR,SILICONE,FKM, EPDM

(Natural Rubber) is made by latex from the rubber tree collection. Natural rubber is the polymers of isoprene. It has good abrasive resistance, high elasticity, tensile strength and elongation. Easy to aging in the air, become sticky when exposed to heat.It is easy to expand and dissolve in mineral oil or gasoline. It is able to bear Alkali, but not strong Acid .
Advantages:

1). good elasticity;

2). resistance to acid and alkali;

Disadvantages:

1). no weather resistance;

2). no oil resistance (but vegetable oil resistant);

Applications:

1). the raw materials of rubber belts, rubber hoses, rubber overshoes;

2). for the production of shock absorber parts;

3). used in the liquid with a hydroxyl automotive brake fluid, ethanol and other products;

(Ethylene Propylene Rubber) is made by the co-polymerization of ethylene and propylene, and therefore heat resistance, anti-aging resistance, ozone resistance, stability are very good. But sulfur cannot put into sulfur. In order to solve this problem, EP backbone introducing a small amount of a third component of the double-stranded and can add sulfur serve EPDM, the general temperature of -50 ~ 150 ºC. It has excellent resistance to polar solvents such as alcohols, ketones and so on.

Advantages:

1). good weather and ozone resistance;

2). excellent water resistance and anti-matter of the word;

3). you can use alcohol and ketones;

4). resistance high temperature steam;

5). with good gas impermeability;

Disadvantages:

1). not recommend to use for foods;

2). not recommend being exposed to aromatic hydrogen;

Applications:

1).the environment of high-temperature water vapor seals;

2). sanitary equipment seals or parts;

3). brake system rubber parts;

4). the seals of radiators;

(Silica Gel) is a kind of highly active adsorption material. It is belongs to amorphous material; It does not react with any substance except alkali, hydrofluoric acid. It is insoluble in water and any solvent, non-toxic, odorless, chemically stable. Generally at a temperature in the range of - 60 ~ 250 ºC.

Advantages:

1). high adsorption performance;

2). good thermal stability;

3). chemical property stabilization;

4). high mechanical strength;

5). good electrical insulation;

6). oxygen-resistant;

7). ageing resistance;

Disadvantages:

1). tensile strength is poor;

2). tearing strength and other mechanical properties are very poor;

Applications:

1). is mainly used for equipment, instruments, equipment, and other conditions of moisture absorption in confined rust;

2). used in conjunction with ordinary silica gel desiccant, indicating desiccant to absorb moisture level and judge the relative humidity environment. Make a packaging desiccant silica gel, are widely used in precision instruments, leather, clothing, food, medicines and household appliances;

3). can be used for baby pacifiers and other supplies in direct contact with the human body, in addition, it can also be used to produce silicone condoms and breast augmentation;

(Fluorine Rubber) refers to a carbon atom of the main chain or a side chain containing a fluorine atom, and can be a synthetic  polymer elastomer vulcanized. Such elastomers, has many excellent performance due to the characteristics of their own composition and structure. It is an excellent elastic engineering materials.

Advantages:

1). high chemical stability;

2).excellent high temperature resistance

3). good anti-aging properties and ozone resistance;

4). excellent vacuum performance;

5). excellent mechanical properties, at high temperature compressive permanent deformation;

6). good electrical properties, low moisture absorption than other elastomers, can be used as a good electrical insulating material;

Disadvantages:

7). small air permeability;

8). low temperature performance is not good, due to its own chemical structure;

9). poor radiation resistance;

Applications:

1). be used in modern aviation, missiles, rockets, astronauts, ships, atomic energy and other cutting-edge technology;

2). be used in automobile, shipbuilding, chemical, petroleum, telecommunications, instrumentation instrument, machinery and other industrial fields;

(Nitrile Rubber) is made by the co-polymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene, acrylonitrile content from 18% to 50%. Acrylonitrile content is higher, resistance to petrochemical oil hydrocarbon fuel the better, but the low temperature performance is poor, general operating temperature range is -25 ~ 100 ºC. NBR is one of the most commonly used rubber seals and O-rings.

Advantages:

1). good resistance to oil, water, solvent and high pressure oil properties;

2). good compression resistance;

3). good abrasion-resistant characteristic;

4). good elongation force;

Disadvantages:not suitable for polar solvents, such as ketones, ozone, nitro hydrocarbons, MEK and chloroform for the system.

Applications:

For the fuel tank, oil tank and hydraulic oil in the petroleum, gas, water, oil, lubricants and other flow-based diester medium for use in rubber parts, especially the sealing parts can be said is the most widely used and lowest cost rubber seals.
(Styrene Butadiene Copolyme) is the copolymer of butadiene and styrene. Compared with natural rubber, it has uniform quality, less foreign body, has better wear resistance and resistance to aging, but the mechanical strength is weak, may blended with natural rubber use.

Advantages:

1). low cost non-oil resistant material;

2). good water resistance;

3). hardness of 70 or less with good elasticity;

4). good heat resistance, abrasion resistance, aging offerings, oil resistance;

5). high hardness degrees with poor compressibility;

6). better storage stability, can be stored for several years in the shadows;

7). soluble in benzene, toluene, xylene, ethyl Acetate, chloroform and other solvents;

Disadvantages:

1). not recommend to use strong acid, ozone, oils, ester oils and fats, and most of the hydrocarbons;

2). high hardness degrees with poor compressibility;

3). ozone resistance is poor

Applications: Widely used in the tire industry, footwear, cloth industry and conveyor industries.

(Neoprene, Polychloroprene) is made by the polymerization of monomers from chlorine-butene. Rubber elastic resistance is good after vulcanization. It is not afraid of direct exposure to sunlight, particularly good weather resistance, not afraid of intense distorted, not afraid of refrigerating fluid, resistance to acid resistance, silicon ester lubricants, but the impatience of Phosphate-based hydraulic oil. Easy to crystallize at low temperatures, hardening. Storage stability is poor at low aniline point mineral oil expansion volume. General temperature range of -50 ~ 150 ºC.
Advantages:
1). good elasticity character;
2). good compression character;
3). the recipe does not contain sulfur, so it is easy to make;
4). it resists to vegetable oils and animal oils;
5). neutral chemicals, fats, oils, various oils and solvents will not impact on physical  properties;
6). with flame-proof properties;
7). resistance R12 seals of refrigerating fluid;
Disadvantages:
not recommend to use of a strong acid, nitro hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, chloroform and chemicals into the system
Applications:
1). rubber parts or seals on appliances;
2).suitable for the production of direct touch with the atmosphere, sunlight, ozone components;
3). for a variety of fire resistant, chemical resistant rubber products;
