Alva, a Guinean businessman, said that from China's import of 1 yuan, Guinea can sell a high price of 1 US dollar. One of the ways is to make orders at the Canton Fair.

Almost every year, many African merchants enthusiastically participate in the Canton Fair in the Spring and Autumn Quarters, and they choose to buy inexpensive Chinese products. Gao Tiefeng, Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office of the Chinese Embassy in Guinea, once told the author: “More and more Guinean customers are now coming to China to participate in the Canton Fair and are quite familiar with Chinese product prices, production, and operating channels.”
