Canadian experts: Experiments prove that GM foods are harmful to humans
Canadian non-genetically modified food (Non-GMO) operators and experts said at an exhibition on Sunday that experiments have proved that GM foods are harmful to the human body, and the federal government should regulate and require that all commodities must be marked with genetically modified components. Former Canadian Ministry of Agriculture official and geneticist Thierry Vrain pointed out in his speech that experiments on animals have proved that genetically modified foods are closely related to liver diseases, neurological diseases and immune disorders. Rachel Parent, a 15-year-old Toronto middle school student who founded the non-profit organization "Kids Right To Know Organization," said in an interview with the Sing Tao Daily reporter: "The world already includes Russia and China. There are 64 countries and regions that regulate the control of genetically modified foods, but in the United States and Canada, food manufacturers are not required to indicate whether their foods contain genetically modified products.As consumers, we have the right to require the government to regulate legislation.
