Saint-Gobain Vetrotech supplies glassware for the restoration of the Statue of Liberty
The head of Saint-Gobain Vetrotech has announced that the first phase of the glass production process for the eyes of the Statue of Liberty has been completed and has been shipped to Vancouver for installation by the indoor and outdoor architectural glass application specialist GreenlightGlassSystems. According to the official news of Saint-Gobain Vetrotech, as the famous New York landmark, the Statue of Liberty uses the largest and heaviest round glass products the company has produced so far. 
The Contraflam range of transparent fire safety glass from Saint-Gobain Vetrotech will also be used in the floor, door and stairwell of the Statue of Liberty. After the installation in mid-August, this famous New York landmark will fully comply with relevant safety standards. It is reported that the Statue of Liberty is expected to be reopened to the public in September this year.
