For the sewage treatment plant that has already been built, it is necessary to strive to operate normally within three months to ensure that the water collection capacity and treatment capacity of the sewage treatment plant meet the design requirements; accelerate the fifth sewage treatment plant, Huxian County, Zhouzhi, Lantian and Economic Development Zone Construction of sewage treatment plant, strive to be completed and put into operation as soon as possible; start construction of Yanqiao and International Port Area Wastewater Treatment Plant, Dengjia Village and Beishiqiao Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II and Liucunbao Wastewater Treatment Plant; start preparation of Caotan Wastewater Treatment Plant jobs. Through a series of measures, the centralized treatment rate of domestic sewage before the end of Xi'an will reach over 80%, and strive to reach more than 85%.
Paper companies malicious smuggling and resolutely closed
This year, Xi'an will continue to increase water pollution control in the basin area, allowing the river to recuperate. Further strengthen the management of 17 original waste paper and paper enterprises to ensure that each company can meet the standard discharge and stabilize emissions. Paper-making enterprises that are unable to achieve stable discharge standards and maliciously smuggle are resolutely forced to retreat. During the year, we will strive to close 1 to 3 paper companies.
Five categories of projects to reduce new pollution sources are not approved
While managing existing pollution, it will also reduce new pollution. To this end, the municipal environmental protection department clearly put forward the project “five non-approvalâ€, that is, the project with serious pollution to the water environment is not approved, and the project with environmental quality cannot meet the requirements of the water environment functional zone is not approved, and the water consumption is large and the wastewater is discharged. Large-scale projects are not approved, and projects that are not covered by urban sewage pipe network and do not self-built sewage treatment plants are not approved, and all projects in districts and counties that cannot complete watershed pollution control tasks are not approved.
This year, Xi'an City will regularly monitor the water quality of the Weihe River section and report the results regularly.
