The operation of the NE type chain hoist (hereinafter referred to as "the hoist") and the length of its service life depend not only on the reasonable design and manufacturing quality, but also on the correct installation, operation, and maintenance. When an abrupt failure occurs in the course of operation, the main problem can be grasped and corresponding measures can be taken to resolve it promptly and quickly. Minimize the loss.

Pre-installation preparation After the equipment arrives, the user shall perform inventory, classification, and quality inspection of the components of the elevator, and shall keep them in a safe place. They shall not be stacked in the open air to prevent rust and damage to the components. If parts are found to be incomplete or damaged, they should be repaired or repaired.
Before installation, carefully check the installation dimensions between the factory building, foundation or floor hole and the hoisting machine at the installation site. Pay particular attention to whether the driving device's installation position (left or right) of the hoisting machine meets the requirements of the design drawings. If it is found that the actual size and design size do not match, the actual size should be measured and modified to ensure the installation quality.
The necessary installation tools and materials should be prepared before installation.

The installation and installation of equipment shall be attended by professional workers such as fitters, crane workers, electricians, and welders.
During installation, the level is firstly leveled with the basic leveler. If it is found to be uneven, it is allowed to be leveled with a steel plate, and then the foundation bolts already installed are checked again according to the basic diagram of the hoisting machine.
The head unit and the middle casing are lifted to the corresponding floor for installation, and the middle casing may also be lifted from the upper section to the lower section during the installation process (hanging one section of the connection).
Hoist installation:
First, the tail device is temporarily fastened to the foundation, and then the middle chassis connection flange is connected by bolts in the assembly sequence. Should be added between the flange asbestos rope or other seals. If there is a non-standard central enclosure, it should be installed after the standard enclosure is installed. Can also be adjusted according to actual conditions. After the middle housing is installed, connect the head unit again. And open the upper cover.
The first section of the middle section of the general middle section is the middle section with the inspection opening, (located on the floor bottom platform to facilitate hopper replacement), every three sections of the standard central chassis (every 7.5 meters or so), install a section of the central machine with rails The shell, when installing the rail section, should pay attention to the width of the rail inside the casing. The narrow side is the lifting side (tight side), and the wide side is the return side (the loose side).
It is very important to ensure that the flange level of the casing is level. Use level gauges to level it. In particular, ensure that the verticality of the centerline of the casing is perpendicular to the plumb line. The installation must ensure that the verticality and curvature of the enclosure are controlled in the range listed in Table (1).

After adjustment, the tail assembly must be secured on the foundation and a positioning device should be provided in the middle of the hoist to prevent it from tilting or shifting. The distance between the positioning device (fixed support frame) is not more than 8m, and the uppermost support frame should be placed on the middle enclosure connected to the upper enclosure. The support frame should be reliably fastened to the building near the hoist, but it should not limit the vertical movement of the hoist.
Due to possible deformation or displacement during transportation, after the hoist is fixed, the level of the head axle must be checked. Until the leveling is completed, the head and tail wheels must be centered.
When installing the drive device, the platform is first bolted to the upper housing (when using the three-sided platform, the three platforms are bolted together and then bolted to the upper housing), and the supporting channel steel is used separately. Securely bonded to the drive platform and middle chassis. Then welded on the platform and maintenance racks (if necessary). Then install the drive device. When the drive device is installed, the output shaft of the motor and reducer should be parallel to the head wheel shaft. The size of the transmission sprocket should be in the middle. The deviation of the center line should be less than 2mm. After the drive chain is adjusted, the drive device base and drive are to be adjusted. The platform is firmly welded and then the protective cover (sprocket cover, pulley cover) is installed.
Before the open chain drive transmission chain is installed, the electric motor should be started to check whether the rotation direction of the small sprocket is consistent with the running direction of the traction chain. (The running direction of the traction chain is: moving from the feeding port side of the elevator to the downward direction of the discharging port side.) If the direction of rotation is incorrect, the drive chain should be installed after the power line is reconnected. After the drive chain is installed, its sag is 10~30mm. The lower half of the transmission sprocket cover is fixed in place, and a proper amount of lubricating oil should be injected into the cover. The kinematic viscosity of the lubricating oil is 30mm2/s~40mm2/s, and the depth of the drive chain immersed in the oil pool is 612mm.
Towing chain and hopper installation:
Before installation, the traction chain should be checked whether its joint rotation is flexible. If it is difficult to rotate, remove the rust spot with gasoline or kerosene and clean it with sandpaper until the rotation is flexible. Do not apply oil.
For the convenience of handling and installation, a chain of about 4 meters of traction chain is connected in series at the factory. When the installation is completed, the tail inspection port cover and the middle inspection port cover are opened first, and the traction chain is correctly (relative to the four-hole plate) from the tail or middle After the inspection port is connected to each other, two chain hoisting chains are lifted from the hoisting machine casing with a chain hoist. Drag the chain around the head wheel and connect it. Use another chain hoist to refer the tail sprocket assembly to the top of its adjustable range so that the traction chain passes around the tail wheel and is connected. Put down the tail wheel assembly. At this time, the tension stroke of the tail wheel that has not been used should not be less than 50% of the full stroke. If it is found to be too high or too low, it should be added at the last joint.
Remove the 2 traction chains and adjust them again.
3 The hopper can be installed after the traction chain is installed.
After the traction chain hopper is installed, the lever and the heavy box can be installed and heavy objects can be installed.
At the same time as the hopper is installed, the inlet and outlet ports can be connected with their supporting equipment to ensure the smooth flow of materials. The angle between the non-standard connection section and the horizontal plane between the inlet and outlet and its supporting equipment shall be greater than 50°.
The manpower of the installed hoisting machine should be capable of rotating the sprocket flexibly, and no collision between the moving parts and the fixed parts should occur during the rotation. If all of the above requirements are met and are deemed satisfactory, the covers can be covered and asbestos lines or other gaskets can be used. Tighten all bolts, remove all shredded material inside the hoist, and lubricate the lubrication system for a two-hour no-load test.

Ststistically, compression strendth on the 1st day, the 3rd day and the 28th day after single application is increased by 60-90% and 25-60% respectively when it is added at standard blend dosage. As the result, compression strength, tensile strength, bucking strgth and modulus of elasticity will be improved to some extent.
