Choose a laminate flooring in six easy steps

First of all, you should try to choose products from flooring manufacturers with advanced production models and considerable investment scale. Usually such companies can provide consumers with more reliable products and perfect after-sales service.

Second, pick the substrate. As the main component of the reinforced laminate flooring, the high-density fiberboard should have a density of not less than 0.8g/cm3, and the thickness of the substrate should meet the international standard of 8mm. Otherwise, too thin will affect the solidity, and the thickness will be too deformable.

Third, look at the amount of formaldehyde released. The emission of formaldehyde from green building materials specified by international environmental protection organizations is not higher than 9 mg/100 g. When selecting laminate flooring, products below this standard should be selected as much as possible.

Fourth, look at the surface wear resistance. The wear resistance grade of household laminate flooring should be AC3 grade (that is, the initial surface wear resistance value is above 6000 rpm), and the initial wear resistance value of the reinforced laminate flooring applied in public places should be above 9000 rpm.

Fifth, look at the moisture-proof measures. Whether there is a special moisture-proof floor mat, whether the laminate flooring has a thick moisture-proof layer, whether the professional floor waterproof glue is used, will directly affect the moisture-proof performance of the product.

Sixth, look at after-sales service. Thoughtful and perfect after-sales service is one of the important components of product quality, and plays a decisive role in whether consumers can use the product with confidence and peace of mind.
