The brake cam is one of the important components in the internal expansion brake of the reducer, as shown in Figure 1. When it is working, the brake cam 6 is tensioned by the lever cam 1 to rotate the brake cam, and the brake shoe 5 is tightened by the upper and lower arcs of the brake cam to open the brake shoe, thereby supporting the friction plate 4 on the shoe.
