The rapid changes in the external environment, such as various temperature changes in a geothermal environment, unstable moisture content, and other external environments, are recognized by many consumers and experts in the industry. After the stresses cancel each other out, the surface of the floor is not cracked.

However, not all solid wood laminates can maintain good self-regulating function in a warm environment. Solid wood laminate flooring or laminate flooring without pre-compressive stress technology often suffer from cracking, warping, arching and other deterioration. Therefore, it is suggested that consumers should consider well-known solid wood composite flooring brands (living home, Jiusheng, etc.) or laminate flooring brands (Filinger, icon, living family, etc.) when choosing solid wood laminate flooring as floor heating flooring.

Consumers often fall into the following misunderstandings when choosing floor heating: (a) The thicker the dough, the better; (b) The back of the floor is best grooved; (c) The moisture-proof membrane is best for heat penetration. In fact, these natural ideas are contrary to the actual working principle of floor heating. Misunderstanding 1: The thicker the better

Some consumers in the floor heating process, the blind pursuit of multi-layer solid wood flooring thicker the better, the wider the floor the better, the longer the floor the better. In fact, the thicker the multi-layer parquet flooring, the more obvious the characteristics of solid wood flooring. In the process of environmental change, the stress generated by the skin during the shrinkage and swelling of the floor is greater, and the opportunities for floor deformation and skin cracking increase. The wider the multi-layer parquet, the greater the gap created when shrinking. In the same way, since the length and width of the multi-layer engineered wood floor both expand and contract, the longer the multi-layer engineered wood floor, the greater the gap generated by the end of the floor during shrinkage.

Therefore, the surface layer of a multi-layer composite floor used for geothermal heating should not be too thick. The geothermal floor coverings in Korea and Japan are mostly 0.3 mm, and most companies in China produce 0.6 mm, and the standard board surface layers produced by domestic producers are all 0.6 mm. It is one of the types that are very suitable for floor heating. It is very popular in the north where geothermal heat is used frequently. If a thick-faced (3~4mm) multi-layered solid wood floor is selected as a geothermal floor, the width of the floor is less than 70mm or the humidity of the use environment is effectively controlled, the deformation of the board surface can also be reduced. Misunderstanding 2: The back of the floor is big

Some people think that the geothermal floor backplane is well grooved, which is conducive to hot gas flow, and even makes the floor backboard into a hollow structure. In fact, the conduction velocity in the heat in the solid is faster than the conduction velocity of the gas. The higher the density, the faster the heat conduction, which is one of the reasons why we increase the density of the floor substrate. The back of the ground surface is longitudinally slotted, and an air layer is formed at the slot on the back of the floor. Since the heat conduction speed of the air is lower than the heat conduction speed of the wood, the heat conduction effect is reduced.

Misunderstanding 3: The best anti-hot film

Some flooring installation companies do not stick the moisture-proof membrane joints when installing flooring. Some individual installation companies even cut the moisture-proof membrane into many small holes. The purpose is to breathe and improve heat conduction. In general, after the geothermal project is completed, the moisture content in the ground cement is at least 17%. During the geothermal heating process, the water on the ground continues to dissipate outward. The damaged moisture-proof membrane directly acts on the back of the floor, resulting in delamination of the floor. Drum kits and fried paint. In addition, in the later period of heating in winter, due to the excessive reduction of moisture in the ground, the heat conduction speed of the ground is slowed, resulting in the room temperature being too low. Therefore, we must not only cut the moisture-proof film into many small mouths, but also stick the moisture-proof film with plastic tape to ensure airtightness. This will not only avoid the harm of the moisture in the ground to the floor, but also keep enough water in the ground to ensure the later heat conduction effect in winter.
